The pursuit of happiness

Good evening,ladies and gentlemen.I am ×××,coming from BE104.Today I'm going to talk about the pursuit of happiness.I want to start with a story.

Once there lived a king of great power and wealth.But he was unhappy. He asked his servants to find something to make him happy.However,each servant came back saying,\"Nothing in the world can match the wonderful things you have .\"

On the flip side ,there lived a poor man with one eye and a crutch to help him walk. Although he had little,he was always happy.When the king heard of this ,he asked the man to teach him the secret.\"I never rush.\" The man said , \"Above all , I never wish for too much.\"

What is happiness?In the poor man's eyes,happiness was everything he had.There is no better than here.This is the happiness of the poor man.As for me,happiness doesn't come from other people .Happiness doesn't come from material things. Happiness doesn't come from having a lot of money and power.In my opinion ,happiness comes from giving love to other people .Happiness comes from giving my best effort to everything I do.Happiness comes from growing smarter

and wiser every day.

While happiness may be more complex for us ,the solution is the same as ever.Happiness isn't about what happens to us;it's about how we perceive what happens to us .In my mind ,the definition of happiness is the capacity for enjoyment . The more we can enjoy what we have , the happier we are.Thank you very much!
